Tetulia just finished up their first real production of labels! This might not sound like that big of a deal, but when you are just starting up a brand, each step is a huge feat! We are very excited for our new, environmentally friendly labels printed by AC Label.

First, all of the energy consumed at their facility is produced by 100% wind power. They buy this from the wind turbines in Wyoming. 100% sustainability. The material used for our labels is 100% biodegradable and comes from 30% Post Consumer Waste. That is the highest amount of post consumer waste content available currently for label printing. We used water based inks which keep solvents out of the environment, and produce no VOC’s (Volatile Organic Compounds). Also, we used a UV based varnish, because a UV based varnish has less VOC’s than a water based varnish.

AC Label has given us the ability to calculate how much energy is saved by creating an environmental impact statement that we can re-calculate with each order produced. That way, we can keep everyone up to date by keeping a “running tab”
