Bring all ingredients except the tea to a boil. Take off burner and let seep for 15 minutes. Add tea and seep for another 5-7 minutes. Strain and add sweeter and milk of choice. Enjoy.

Lemongrass Herbal Infusion from Teatulia

Denver, CO – January 12, 2010 – Teatulia is pleased to introduce two new infusions to their line of organic “teas with a purpose”.  Teatulia, a sustainable, single garden tea company that has dramatically improved the lives of women, men and children in Northern Bangladesh, where their tea is grown, is unveiling their first herbal infusions at the Fancy Food Show in San Francisco, January 17-19, 2010.

Lemongrass and Ginger Herbal Infusions will now complement the full line of Teatulia teas. Pure, organic Lemongrass provides a light, refreshing herbal indulgence. The Ginger Infusion offers a naturally caffeine-free brew of warm and spicy flavors to calm, soothe and settle. Both infusions are whole leaf and available either loose or conveniently packaged in Teatulia’s biodegradable silken pyramid sachets. Given the unsurpassed freshness of Teatulia’s whole leaves, each pyramid can be steeped two to three times for maximum enjoyment and cost-savings. All Teatulia teas are packaged using eco-friendly, compostable materials.

“The large volume of requests we’ve received asking us to add a caffeine-free option to our product line was what inspired us to develop these two new infusions,” said Linda Appel Lipsius, Co-Founder and COO of Teatulia. “We’ve spent the last year creating infusions that mirror the extraordinary quality of our premium line of teas.  Both of our new herbals are delicious, served hot or cold, and enable us to meet the demand for caffeine-free infusions while maintaining our dedication to all natural teas with a pure, clean taste.”

Teatulia LIVE on Wine.Woot!

Teatulia is thrilled to be featured on Wine.woot for the second time! This time we  offer a 3-pack including Teatulia Black, Bengal Breakfast and Neem Nectar – all for just $15.99!  Here is what some of the “wooters” have to say about Teatulia Tea:

I bought the 6 pack sampler here a while ago. These 3 were my favorite of the 6. Definitely buying again.  -specvic

I was just saying that I need more Teatulia Tea as I ran out last month. I bought Teatulia from woot last time and I liked it a lot. I liked the Breakfast tea and the Black tea. I don’t remember exactly how the Neem tea was, but I drank it all so it couldn’t have been that bad. I am a little disappointed though because the Earl of Bengal was my favorite and it isn’t in here.
The pyramid bags are awesome, it makes it easier for me to get good tea without having to bring all the things needed for loose leaf tea.
I would definitely recommend you try this if you haven’t already!  -ViperEagle

I bought these last time when woot had them up as a 6 pack of different flavors and they are my all time favorite now! The little cardboard cannisters keep it fresh for a long time. I definitely recommend these to tea drinkers, you’ll love them.  – Sbrandt
I agree! I purchased the 6-pack of Teatulia on woot a while back and have enjoyed them all. I normally reuse a Teatulia tea pouch about 3 times before discarding, and still find my tea to have good flavor. If you are looking to try some new teas, this is a good value for very delicious tea.  -mreynolds179

In for two…I recently got introduced to whole-leaf tea and I’m afraid I’ve gotten spoiled for the regular stuff. The second will make a great gift for a tea-lovin’ friend.  -jdick17

This is only up for a limited time so be sure to get in on the action now!  Teatulia on Wine.Woot.com
